Work
Co-Producer and the Director of Photography for Imaginations Ink
The focus of our work at Imaginations Ink thus far has been two fold. Our first and main objective is to promote cultural transmission through film in hopes of fostering a better understanding of human life and it's many complexities. Secondly, as we believe that we as humans will always be inseparably connected to the Earth, our goal is to illustrate environmental issues worldwide and the human toll that accompanies them.
Life, Leisure, and Travel
My first and greatest love in life is that of nature. I discovered this at a very early age catching and releasing turtles in a neighborhood pond. I never lost the child-like fascination that would compel me to trudge though filthy pond scum, and have pursued that interest in my adult life. I have now visited the Indonesian Island of Borneo twice. Once to investigate the resident orangutans and the many other creatures inhabiting Tanjung Puting National Park. On a return visit I worked to conserve the disappearing orangutan habitat by helping to map what is left of the National Park.

Nature is my primary inspiration when taking photos or filming. I do not think of photography as creating something beautiful, but rather as documenting what already exists. Photography, as with all art, is proof of life. Studying anthropology, political science and the natural world has provided an immense amount of inspiration for my desire to document nature, life, and human culture.

Next to traveling, my favorite activities are snow boarding and fly fishing. Both activities bring me a great amount of satisfaction regardless of the snow conditions or whether or not I catch any fish. I adore being outside and in touch with the elements, a feeling that I have achieved in few other ways.
